Sorry if this news has already been posted but I couldn't see anything so figured I'd post it. It seems like its possible that Disney want to make a Star Wars spin off movie called "Red Five", and the rumour goes it could be about a X-Wing squadron.

Obviously need to take all this with a large pinch of salt, still I have my fingers crossed its for real. If they did make a movie, there is a good bet we would get a new computer game to go along with it.

as long as its not disneyfied too much.... actually been reading all the rogue squadron books recently and some of them are pretty Cheesy as well... But still fun books to escape into, which is quite different from my normal reading of technical aviation stuff... i actually like the animated Starwars stuff and thought most of it was better then most of the movies!!

I read that news too. Hopefully there's some truth to it and it'll feature Rogue Squadron. Besides, Luke Skywalker is its founder anyway.

would be neat. only time will tell how good the disney sw movies will end up being. Of course I have high hopes, can't be any worse then the prequels.

The twist might be that it's not about Luke at all. It could be set after Episode 9 and be about a new Red 5 who is introduced in the sequels.

I'm hoping that schedule has truth to it. A Star Wars movie every year from 2015 to 2020 would be awesome.

If the story is good it doesn't matter to me if it's animated or not.

I liked that the Rogue Squadron books deviated from the main characters. I loved that Wedge was the man and the main SW OT heroes just made cameos. The SW universe is a big place. I would like if the new flicks went down that road. New characters yyyeeaaaahhh
