Opinions on my 300 epic list build.

This will be my first 300 point game, third with the transport (other 2 prior were 200 points with 1 win 1 lose)

Just wondering what ya think of this and what area could if any needs approving.

Chances are my opponent will have at least 3 shuttles and a Firespray, probably with hlc since he beat me our first game 200 points with it.

This is my 300 point list with what I currently have

The main theory with this is hopefully keep the b wings in the front lines, and have Wes shoot first to hopefully strip any tokens, followed up with Luke and wedge.

Chewy is there to help tank,and as a heavy hitter

The Y wing for support. Passing target locks and ion support along with the hwk. Hopefully slow him down, maybe line up my transport to ram (easier said then done)

The transport can hopefully make him target it, and with reinforceing the fore section take some hits,and recharge.

Hopefully able to user jam down the road to give more stress to my opponents ships.

I guess the main thing is set up. Still unsure how I should set up my units at the start. Want to stay somewhat close to the transport but always afraid I may collide with my own which is bad.

Couple things I've considered

Taking fcs off the blue,and upgrade to Daggers. No upgrades.

The low pilot score on the blue may cost them to die before shooting. If they are Daggers they may get a shot off.

On paper I think it looks promising. The 3 xwings I have in this have done me well in 100pt,and 200pts game before.

The key is set up.

Would love to hear some thoughts and if there is something I should consider, feel free to suggest something

Well nice list but lots of points on elite pilots. Imps will outnumber you a lot.

One thing i would reconsider is the combat refit. That's 10 points and personally i would just play that if i used the transport with the engine upgrade as a battering ram, perhaps together with that overload device and the title upgrade where you get two evades for a fore reinforce (dodonnas pride i believe)

I tend to equip the transport either like that and with toryn farr (if that's the dude taking away tokens) perhaps, or i take it as bright hope with the device that allows you to stress another ship while jamming. Then i take slicer tools, that's 2 damage per turn on 2 ships at least, and as i tend to run R2A3 on my escorts as well as some assault missiles, this gets very hot for swarms very fast. I remember killing 5 academy ties in one turn by slicing 3 and giving the rest to them with assault missiles. My remaining ships did the last 2 damage on the surviving ties. That way people just can't ignore the transport and while they're at it my escorts just murder them.
