So Im planning on running this combo a lot when the Ewing comes out. I see a question concerning the text and sequence of events.

Lets say im just out of range two from an ally ship. I meet the requirements for R7-t1 action. can I get the TL then boost into range of friendly ship and then dole out the free TL?

OR does Dutch's text take precedence and will not be able to deal out the candy before boosting?

Dutch passes a target lock immediately after he acquires his own, so it occurs before the boost.

Would be awesome if it worked but Engine25 is right, no Target Lock hand-off after Dutch boosts.

Remember it only works one way. While he doesn't get to boost then use the TL and pass the TL he CAN TL, pass a TL, and then boost. If he boosted the TLed he wouldn't/shouldn't be able to do it before he boosts.

There are a fair number of things that you may want to work one way but if they did then they wouldn't work as they actually do.
