How many factions, waves, and ships are there in Attack Wing so far?

I doubt we'll see a third faction, certainly not before we see how the universe stands with the Sequel Trilogy. Any of those EU factions may not even exist in the new unified universe.

I do like the idea of doing what WoTC's Star Wars Miniatures game did and add a "Fringe" faction that either Rebels or Imperials could make use of, and can also be fielded on their own if desired. It serves as both a mercenary pool to draw on and a de facto third faction at the same time.

Let's be honest, none of the other factions in the Galactic Civil War period is really worth being a full faction on their own, but combine them all together and you have a lot of interesting things to draw upon.

I do think there should be some ship sharing. The Firespray should have some rebel pilots..
