Heya everyone, I don't know if I'm allowed to ask about this, but is there people here that play Dark Heresy online. Using the pbp method. I would love to start a game or play in a game of DH. I guess I forgot to mention that I can post often and have a working knowledge of the game. Another question is do they allow pbp here at FFG. I looked and have not seen anything. It might be a great addtion to set up a section for online play.

I've run some Play-by-Post sessions with my group between our regular live-sessions. Especially when things crop up so time between said sessions is long.

It works really well, I think, and allows the GM to work on atmospheric descriptions, well-thought-out dialoge and tactics from the NPCs. I think most of my group enjoyed the different perspective it provides, but the slow pace can be a drag (we ran 1 turn every 24 hrs).

Didzt wrote an excellent piece on this for Liber Fanatica, and I reccomend a read through before you start a game of your own.

If you need a good community you should try somethingawful.com. It costs 10 dollars for a membership but they have a pretty active play by post community. Just read the rules and youll be fine.

Also there's an assassin NPC that I rolled up to help with the Price of Knowledge scenario. Or you could insert your own.
