So now that they spoiled Raymus Antilles I thought about a new double transport Epic list.
GR-75 Transport: Intelligence Agent + Raymus Antilles + Frequency Jammer + Duty Free (43)
GR-75 Transport: Intelligence Agent + Intelligent Agence + Slicer Tools + Quantum Storm (43)
So the idea is that every turn:
Start of Activation look at 3 ships in RB1-2, try to find ships that selected white manuevers, assign one a stress with Raymus.
On the Duty Free's activation: choose the Jam action, select a target in RB3 to jam, and then use Frequency Jammer to jam another ship in RB1 of the first target.
On the Quantum Storm's activation you should have 3+ ships in RB1-3. Spend 1 energy per stressed ship to do one unavoidable damage.
Then capitalize in the combat phase with a bunch of ion cannons.
Here's the list:
GR-75 +Intelligence Agent +Raymus Antilles +Frequency Jammer +Dutyfree
GR-75 +Intelligence Agent +Intelligence Agent +Tibanna Gas Supplies +Slicer Tools +Quantum Storm
Kyle Katarn +Wingman +Ion Cannon Turret +Tactician
Jan Ors +Wingman +Ion Cannon Turret +Tactician
"Dutch" +Ion Cannon Turret +R2-D6 +Wingman
Wes Janson +Veteran Instincts
Wedge Antilles +Predator
Luke Skywalker
Biggs
Alternate: Drop Dutch and the 4 Xwings for
5x Dagger Squadron + FC + Ion Cannon
In the ideal situation, the Transports should stress 3 targets a turn and then Kyle, Jan and Dutch should ionize them, potentially opening them up for a ramming action by the transports. Alternatively, on a low energy cycle, the transports allocate 4 stress and the HWKs add 2 more to the mix. Thats a lot of stress to deal with and can negate some ships which rely on actions, especially if you start doubling up on them.
Could be fun. I have really been humming and hawing over buying a second transport. I think I will and Im going to start practicing formation transport flying!
