Ok, I need help, I fly Imperials pretty exclusively there's a few builds I want to try but that's another story!

My Son wants to take Rebel build to a tournament, he's 16 and doesn't like having to think too much about secondary weapons that much. We've tried a few things and he's giving me things he likes and doesn't and I'm struggling so thought I'd ask advice!

He likes:- Dutch with Ion turret, A-wings, Wedge, Rookie pilots (always seems to shoot me more with them than anything else!)

He doesn't like:- Big ships, Hwk, B-wings(sigh, doesn't know anything!)

Any help appreciated

When Rebel aces comes out you get two more points to play with (Chardaan refit)

he might like:

Dutch +ICT+R5

Garven+R2

Awing+PTL

Rookie+R2

named pilots pass out goodies, Wedge wont be the obvious target and loss of points early, the X's have a lot more moves open up to them due to R2, and the R5 mitigates some damage

Did wonder about that or Biggs, he prob won't like that Wedge is not in there but he has such a big target painted on him that he may go for something like this.

The other list looks pretty good too as he's not a huge fan of upgrades, he forgets they're there
