Hey all,
After storing and transporting my ships in their blisters, packing and unpacking them for each game, not to mention having counters unsorted in a bag, I decided to do something about it!
From what I've gathered there are some good carry cases to be bought, but since I'd rather spend greens on ships, and I like the hobby part of these games, I built my own box for transport and storage.
That looks really cool. My concern would be for the ships lose in the bottom though, don't they get rattled arround quite a lot?
First glance it looks magnetic, bottom 2 pics they'd fall to the bottom otherwise. Great idea if it is!

Is the magnet in the ship base, or in the bottom of the box?
I've seen similar ideas with metal sheets in the case and magnets on the bases of the minis...i think i saw out on dakkadakka. Looks like a good idea since the ships are as light as they are.
They do indeed have magnets. No need for drill or anything as they fit flush into the four corners of the base.
Bottom of the box has รก magneticstrip as well. The box can withstand quit a bit of shaking without the ship moving.
Cool idea.

I went low tech and use the core box for my transports ;-)
