A few days ago I ordered a bunch of tokens from Applied Perspective: http://www.appliedperspective.com/acrylic/product-category/x-wing/

I noticed that a lot of people paint their tokens. For those that did, what kind of paint/brushes would you recommend? I'm quite new to painting, so any advice would be much appreciated.

I actually painted the fill areas on my FFG Target locks and also on the AP Range rulers I have with White Out, and then scratched off any excess paint with another acrylic piece. It works well, looks good, and is cheap!

You can do it easier and faster if you apply the paint in the cracks and simply wipe immediately after with a wet piece of rag/cloth/paper.

No you just want something that helps the numbers and such stand out. If white won't work you could pick up acrylic paint at Walmart or other store for a few bucks.

I'm going to be trying this soon as well, but I wonder if that will work on White out, or I need to use real paint since White out dries so quickly.
