How will this Improve the B-Wing?

You can add a Gunner. You can add Merc Co-Pilot, C3-PO to name but a few highly useful crew members. Navigator on a B with Engine Upgrade and Adv. Sensors may be super effective.

And why is Gunner great at Range 1? Because that is very expensive insurance.

I would probably only use a Merc Co-pilot on Ten. The cost of everything else seems wasted. If you want to spend points though they will really increase the B-Wings capabilities.

The problem with gunner is that the more likely you are to hit with the initial attack the less useful gunner is. A HLC b-wing doesn't miss all that often, so adding a gunner is usually just wasted points.

I personally want to put Nien Numb on board my PtL, Engine Upgrade, Itbisam.

Yep, that is a nice one. 4 straight greens is a lot of options for clearing stress compared to what we have now.

I can definitely get behind a trio of defensively stacked Daggers, one each with Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2.

Also, 3 daggers with Gunners and Fire Control Systems.

Yup, its a title card, so you can still take a System. It may cost some points but I wouldn't expect more than 1, maybe zero. None of the titles that allow another upgrade cost points, only the ones that actually give you a gameplay bonus.

We don't know the full effect of the title. I'd be surprised if if only added a crew slot without taking something away, as B-Wings are already among the best ships in the game.

Well if you consider that it likely would be taking something away, in that it is increasing the cost of a ship, then that seems fair. Players will have to consider either taking a crewmember on one or more B-wings and likely give up a ship, or take a ship.

For instance, the Royal Guard Title Card provides a similar situation. Royal Guards+PtL are only 25 points each, giving 4 hypermobile ships with high Pilot Skill and high attack. I would much rather have the fourth ship than give each of them 2 modifications, which is allowed by the title. If I am going to increase the cost of one of them, I would probably take one of the high PS named pilots instead.

Here there is a similar choice. Are three Daggers with Crewmembers better than Four Daggers? Depending on the crew, I think that could be the case.

If they make it cost 0, unless they make another title, the B-Wing has a crew slot at no cost and might as well have had it in the ship cards. That's dumb.

The B-wing/E starfighter , or B-wing Expanded , was an upgraded B-wing starfighter with an extended cabin to accommodate a gunner , in addition to a pilot .

It was to make them more offensive than a standard B-wing. The B-wing is already a heavy hitter so I am not sure what costs will come with this card. Having a 0 cost title card to give you a crew slot seems a little OP on a B-wing.

Combine this with Farlander and PtL you have someone who is absolutely insane. Thankfully he will get focus fired off the table pretty quickly and his high points cocst means that you can't have much else.
