Has anyone else ever played the Star Wars Sparks campaign at conventions?

They have a run a living campaign for 13 years using the D6 and some Saga ruled adventures.

I just wonder if anyone is connected with the group and if they have looked at moving to the FFG system?

I guess looking at the event list for a GenCon I will not able to attend had be thinking about it.

Not heard much, but from what little I've heard, they're D6 grognards through and through. They stuck with D6 through the various d20 versions, and they've stuck with D6 when FFG announced their system. As you've noted, they've been going wtih the D6 system for 13 years, and they'll probably keep going with the D6 system until they drop.

I would just like to get a hold of the 100+ sparks adventures one day and convert them over. I played them at GenCon in 08 to 12 and just found them to be real quality.

As for the adventures, you might want to try contacting them yourselves and ask them about it. They might be willing to let you do the conversions, though I can't say what stipulations they might include. Given these are convention scenarios, I'd advise to not get your hopes up, but there's no harm in asking.
