GR-75 Assembly- missing extension pegs?

By dojimaster, in X-Wing

So the instructions, top pf page 2, say to attach an "extension peg" onto the tower of each base - did anyone get these?

None were included in my box. :(

Interesting, I had the same problem. At first, I thought that I had merely thrown them away by accident, something which goes very much against my meticulous nature, but still in the realm of possibilities. If others had the same problem however... um... oh well, at least they are not necessary to assemble the ship. I actually have not figured out why we would need them in the first place.

Fear not, I thought the same at first, but the extension pegs refer to the stands, not a second peg upon the top. The guide image is misleading as that short connector shown is actually the adaptor on the model itself - the bit glued in.

Double check the component list and you'll see all the bits of plastic are accounted for.

I didn't see any in my box either and was starting to wonder. Maybe they ended up not needing them but forgot to take them out of the rules.

This.

I disagree. They don't list bits which are glued onto the model as separate components in the list.

They haven't been included for anyone. I imagine the idea existed but didn't work out and they were removed from production, but the documentation accidentally wasn't updated.

Just out of interest, who are you disagreeing with? Seeing as they haven't listed them as separate components.

I didn't receive any separate extender pegs with my Transport.

The instructions on page 2 say to "Attach one extension peg onto the tower of each base" and then to "Insert each small peg on the bottom of the ship into the extension peg."

"2 Plastic Extension Pegs" are included on the components list. There are no "towers" listed in the components list, though. It probably is just a disagreement between the actual product and the booklet that didn't get corrected, and nothing's actually missing.

I see what you are saying. I retract my point, I think this is correct, but I still think they should have included extender pegs so that when you play with multiple Huge ships they don't bump each other:

They do not exsist as seperate pieces. Think what you will, but the assembly refers to the pieces that are attached to the ship. When it comes to the transport they are recessed in the model. Those assembly instuctions are a generic pic for all the huge ships. The corvette will probably have one or both visable.

Bottom line is no one got them....and they are not listed in the content of the transport.
