Just wanted to share if you guys dont mind. I finally got back into doing some imnking and did a basic lineart of one of my npc characters. Been working on it off and on but just want to get it done.

I hate you...

...not really I'm just very jealous at how cool your art work is.

My artistic skills are horrid. It's one of the reasons I was thinking of going the miniature route and commission someone to paint them.

Thanks :) Its a pain really ..I can do pencil work till im blue in the face and enjoy the color process even though I have tons to learn....but omg I hate inking lol

I like it! It's good to have actual character art for a specific character versus just trying to pull something from the web like I've been doing. :D

I do have some critique if you're intrested at all. Spoiler'd if you aren't.

Given how much a PITA humanoids can be to draw, you've done a good job thus far. :) The arms and fingers don't look disproportionate, which is really good as my sister (the artist of the family) constantly gripes about how hard they're to do correctly, especially when they're doing something (like holding a firearm.)

Looking at this piece I'd only have two critiques. 1) I feel that the facial features need to be defined more. A lot of the faces I saw looked rather flat and undefined, somewhat mask like. A notable exception was your Savage Opress wip, which I think is extremely well done. He had a lot depth and definition to his facial features that help bring out his expression. 2) The left shoulder line. Now she is at an odd angle, but it’s just seems a little off though I'm having some issue with identifying why. Looking at a few model poses I think the upper shoulder line going towards the body should have a bit more of an upward curve. I can't tell for sure though.

But, as I said, overall it’s still a very good piece and far better than anything I can do. Should work well as a NPC portrait. :)
