This is a touch of necromancy, but I'm just announcing that:

1) I'm still taking suggestions. I'm at a snag as to what else to stat with regards to freighters.

2) I'm working on the capital ships chapter now that I finished AoR. I have a few favorites, but I'm up for suggestions. I want at least 20 before I start up a new thread.

3) If anyone has a suggestion as to how to make these documents look good, please let me know!

I didn't do a writeup for it, partly because no one really asked, and I thought they were going to bring it about with an AoR supplement (but didn't).

Yeah, I put together the PDF for easy viewing and printing. I haven't really done anything since this, mostly due to time and lack of requests, so everything should be there.

Granted, if you can do a better looking PDF, I'm game for that.

I tried to send OggDude a note to let him use these, but I couldn't get the message to him. I'm still mucking about with his creator (and making more important edits), so I haven't gotten around that that. Considering that a handful of these have been officially statted, I'm not sure if I'd personally go all-out on that.

I never really stopped. The requests I could do stopped coming in outside of capital ships, and while I have a few of them "sketched" out, I haven't really made a good breakthrough (having a hard time grasping how they are scaling the differences in Silhouette and Encumbrance, primarily). It also didn't help that the F&D Beta came out and sidelined my group.

Anyway, if you have a request of a specific Fighter or Freighter, let me know and I'll see if I can fit it into my schedule for you.

Variants: The TIE Scout was a Restricted vessel, but contained a better sensor suite (Extreme Range), as well as a system to “ping” ships (add <B> to checks to find “hidden” ships). The Lone Scout A-2 improved the backup hyperdrive (Class x12) at the cost of 25 tons (138 Encumbrance).

Notes : There’s a number of versions of these stats from other games, and all of them are conflicting. I tried to consolidate it a bit as this game is more narrative, and relied solely on Wookieepedia.

That said, I disagreed with the idea of ditching shields and weakening the hyperdrive of the TIE Scout as they are basically the same ship (just with better sensors), but I can see the argument of weakening them in exchange for the sensors.

The ship is described as being sluggish compared to fighters (0 Handling, 3 Speed), but I don’t see it being less durable than the Jumpmaster (I see it as more durable, mostly due to size, and as it has a more reliable hyperdrive, better system strain). I also see the Jumpmaster being faster and more maneuverable due to being a CEC ship, as well as not having the same cargo or passenger space (sacrifices were made).

Subnote: It won't let me add images from Wookiepedia entries now. Anyone else run into that issue?

Maybe something utterly mundane and forgettable, like the Action IV transport, or something FROM THE FUTURE like the Horizon-class yacht. I'd say something like the Imperial Hunter, but seeing as you have nothing but a picture to work with, that just seems mean somehow.

I figure a shotgun approach is a good choice. Maybe by randomly throwing stuff out there I'll hit something not taboo. And I swear up and down I don't remember the Corona being so big.

I like the looks of the YV-100, and took a stab at starting it up a month or 2 ago. I'd be interested to see your take on it.

It’s a nice replacement for the Nebulon-B, but not a freighter.
