I have the 4 promo heroes and cards for Descent 1st, Runebound (and with the conversion kit, Descent 2nd edition).

I understand some later versions also included hero cards for Runewars. I would like to get those cards.

Figured someone using them for Descent or Runebound might not be using the Runewars cards and would trade them or sell them?

lol I think a lot of us would like those cards...I haven't seen them for sale/trade, unfortunately

Ironically, I had a set of these several years ago and gave them away to a Runewars player at the time. I didn't realize how hard it would be to get more? I didn't not realize at the time that not all versions of the promo heroes included them.

Worst-case scenario, there are scans of these cards available online.

You could use print outs and a die roll to maintain random hero selection.

Or you could just live without the 4 promo heroes when playing Runewars. I bought up the promo heroes before Runewars was released, so I never got the Runewars hero cards either. Honestly, though, I've never felt like RW was limited with just the core 12 heroes.

I'm just a completionist. Of course I want them all.
