So, it looks to me like if you have both of these on a ship, they do a target lock AND boost before movement. Could be useful. Sorry if this has been posted before.

Definitely looks fun to fly! Probably not fantastic on the PS 1 or 3 pilots for the usual reasons. TLs aren't great on low PS, and neither is a boost.

It definitely could be cool on Coran, though, for some range changing and efficient shooting. 41 points though...yikes.

Now if only we could get system upgrades on the Y-Wing.

Only if you DON'T take advanced torps and Lando as well. Lando gives the free R7 action (who gives back the TL, awww, how sweet), Dutch focuses and pukes 5 hits into someone's face!

I would sooner go to the market naked than fly Dutch without Lando. Incidentally, Lando does not work with R7-T1, but Dutch can always use it as his normal action. I'm actually considering Cracken now in lieu of Lando. Just considering, mind you.

I think Dutch with R7-T1 works best with Ion Turret. I just imagine boosting out of an enemy firing arc usually angling Dutch in a way that the enemy is out of his arc too. I guess you could load up an APT instead and just boost into someone's grill, which does sound fun!

R7-T1 is what I like to call the "Advanced Proton Torpedo Delivery Boy." TL/boost to range one and get a focus from Kyle/Lando/Garven/etc. and deliver the money shot.
