The rebel transport mission rules say that a non-unique pilot can be substitued for a unique pilot.

So if I take tycho, I can choose to substitute a green squad pilot for him instead.

Questions:

- Can I substitute any number of non-unique ships, as long as I pay the point cost? e.g. can I take two green squad pilots instead of tycho?

- If my substituted ship(s) are killed, do I need to cross tycho off the roster?

1. No. Under the instructions for creating the Rebel roster, the Rebel player chooses up to nine ships. You do not get more than that. Conceptually you could think of it as giving Tycho's ship to another pilot to fly for the mission.

2. My guess is no, since the lost ship was not unique.
