Come on man, don't be like that. We just have no idea what you were talking about.

The post was about me having a train of bad experiences this year and asking for help to win a contest so I could get some x wing miniatures...since I have no money due to not being able to find a job and since playing x wing is one of the things I use to distract myself from all those problems while I look for a way out of them. I just felt ashamed so I deleted it. I know you guys are a great community.

To help you out I'll give you the following advice:

Fly what you know how to fly.

Fly what you want to fly.

Fly a ship like it is meant to be flown. (eg. don't joust with an A-wing, flank with it).

Plan your moves around where you think your opponent will move. If you aren't good at guessing sneak in an intelligence operative and a navigator or fly ships with turrets.

If you do use missiles/torpedoes, back it up (use Jonus, PTL, action passing)

This game favours offence over defence.

Practice flying your squad, even solo around asteroids helps.

You can research good squads all over this forum but you need to fly a list that you know how to fly, are comfortable with, and know how it works together.

And the most important thing of all...

Fly Casual.
