Who all is planning on going to this tourney? I've already preregistered with the store and they mentioned that they already have ~40 people signed up, don't know if that's true or not, but if so, it might end up being the largest one to date.

I'm debating going, 4 hour drive for me. It depends if anything comes up in the next week that will dissuade me from going.

I'm more prepared this time. Last week was my first major gaming event so I didn't expect, nor was I ready for the fatigue factor. This time I'm aware of it and I'm taking actions to protect against it (not like I expect it to go away, but it's gotta be better than nothing). Plus, with Nova not comprising a good third of the playing field, I expect there to be fewer mentally stressing games throughout the round robin.

holy cow! You knew it was going to be a hard game when you saw the blue shirt of your opponent. It let me know to take them as a threat though. Dont eat sugar or drink caffine, stay away from energy drinks, and have some sandwiches or pepperoni rolls ready to devour before the cut

Wow, glad we made a good game for you guys! Till the next one, this one is about a 7 hour drive for me...chances are not good for attending!

40+ people? sounds like it's going to be a great time. I'm looking forward to it, though I can't say I'll make it to the finals. Though, as long as I stay off of asteroids, I should do okay.

I'm all set on my list I think. Well, at least I think I am. Until Johdo lands me a critical loss tomorrow night and makes me reconsider my entire life. Hobbie v4.0 is what I'm thinking, but there are two other lists that are really intriguing, including one that just screams I don't give two poops about the meta. Well, I suppose Hobbie v2.0 said the same thing with that A wing in there =P.

Isn't the purpose of the meta to find ways to ignore it or counter it?

Hey so I just called they only have 20ish signed up pre-registered. Just letting you know about 15 guys from indianapolis are hitting the hyperspace lanes to come for the fun
