Can you lost the Hag in the temple?

But assume you have no Hag and Poltergeist + Maiden instead. If you roll a 4 at the Temple, you have to discard one Follower. Perhaps you may house-rule that the Follower is determined at random, but according to the rules you choose which one to discard. Since you can't voluntarily lose the Poltergeist, you must discard the Maiden.

Happened yesterday here: a character had 2 mules,unicorn and poltergeist, rolled a 4 on temple. We thought exactly the same, if you cant decide to "sacrifice" poltergeist you cant "choise" it so he lost a mule, but if you have only poltergeist (or Hag) then you "must" lose it.

No 100% cleared but seem pretty logic from what we read in this forum.

But if you may choose ( example: vampire tower) then you may not choose the hag, poltergeist etc
