This is sort of a workin draft at the moment, as it's something I threw together with my prerelease pulls, plus a few things I already had.
I've always been a HUGE Nightmare fan. Like...seriously. He was my favorite SC character from the time I started, only competing with Kilik for that spot. With time (and UFS, haha), he now has to compete with Kilik, Seong-Mina, Tira, and Cervantes (well, Yoshitmitsu, too, but...well, y'know). Anyway, I've always loved him in UFS, but his characters, while decent, have been a little lackluster (the promo with Timmy's is busted, tho).
Imagine my excitement when he was finally back! =D

Deck is too large and the card choices suck. I already know this.
But somehow it still works...
Anyway. The point is pretty dang obvious. This deck is meant to destroy the bejeezus out of the opponent's backfield, and regularly is able to toss HUGE attacks with almost no staging area to speak of. I think my current record is a 28 damage Dash Low, thanks to All Life is Prey, which is a really stupid damage pump =/
Beacon of Evil is GREAT, but probably too expensive to run, being a fourth high difficulty foundation, alongside Chester's, So Bitter, and Azure Knight. I get the feeling Azure Knight is going to get the kibosh, since, while it is a good damage pump, it relies on having a really low number of cards to work with. It will likely be replaced with Enraged Golem for better pumpiness. I'll probably also ditch Beacn of Evil, even if it DOES make playing attack strings stupidly easy. I'd like to find some way to play Jotun's Fury, since it has the self-pump that also fuels All Life is Prey.
Which brings me to All Life is Prey. This card is redonkulous. It counts any foundations that area destroyed for the entire turn - due to effect OR cost, meaning I've got a whopping 14 cards (plus character) in my deck that will shoot it up. Intimidating Presence is a massive enabler here, since it gives +1 just for the cost, and, if that attack deals damage, +1 for the effect. Then I respond with Nightmare, commit something and pop another one, and on the next attack I destroy the committed foundation with Intimidating. I've destroyed upwards of nine cards in an opponent's staging area in a turn with JUST Presence, not to mention Nightmare and Corrpting Force.
The big weak point is that Blinding Rage sort of crap all over this deck. A few well-placed Owlfaces during the building portion, though, should alleviate that difficulty. So what I need is a way to make the deck better - trim the fat, work on the difficulty ratios, find the best attacks (I JUST pulled my first Launcher today ;_
, and I'd like to find a draw mechanic of some kind. And I'm not beyond dual-symboling to get it (****, I wish Nightmare was Death/Earth/Evil).
Tear it apart, yo.
