We had no new news on May the Fourth and are unlikely to see any on Revenge of the Sixth.

Am I the only one who thinks the Rebel Aces was supposed to be revealed yesterday but when they were leaked at that Con they did the full reveal early.

As I recall, we expected (hoped for) an announcement last May 4th too and got nothing then either.

I expect we'll hear about Huge Imps shortly after the Tantive hits shops.

If they're not including an Advanced with one of those, then I expect we'll hear about the next Aces/update kit (come on Y-wing and TIE Advanced, Daddy needs a new...bunch of stuff!) sometime after Rebel Aces hits shops.

We won't hear about the next full wave of ships until quite a while after Wave 4 hits, so really, there probably just isn't much to say at the moment.

They are either going to have a shiny new something on display for the FFG Regional or at Gencon. A small break inbetween releases isn't a bad thing.

Last year, FFG held a regional tournament at its event center on the weekend of May 4 and debuted the Wave 3 models at that time. Photos from tournament-goers flooded the Internet and FFG posted an official announcement of Wave 3 that day.

Don't get me wrong, I do think a bit of time between news bits is best for the game. That's why the flurry of news releases that came out just before Rebel Aces was leaked was pretty hectic. That's why I'd be will to bet that the Rebel Aces should have been announced yesterday.

Well, the TIE Phantom preview is up. Does that count?
