Sorry if there's a game finding thread elsewhere, but haven't been able to locate it.

I'd be interested in running a campaign if I can find players. Anyone in the area looking?

Yeah I'd agree that an online game might be a better choice for you. And if you do start an online game, I'd certainly be interested in joining if it's on a day that I'm available

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble finding a group out there. When I moved to Germany it took me years to find a group, and now that I have a great group, we are moving back to the States. I hope I can find a group out there soon.

Do you have access to Elmendorf? Their community center might have D&D, pathfinder or magic the gatherings days and you could go there to try to meet people. If you don't or that is not your cup of tea, try Meetup.com, pen and paper games and Obsidain Portal. That area is huge and has a ton of military people, so there are gaming groups out there, just keep looking. I don't know if they have a comic or game shop out there, but look for those and try those out as well. Good luck.

Yeah I get that. It's always better to play around a table. I wish you good luck finding players.

You should try Meetup.com, there are several gaming groups in Anchorage on it. You could also try a physical sign at BOSCO'S. I just got out of a long term Star Wars game myself.

A friend and I are game, and host and GM--and be fun to switch from playing GM to player once in a while to be part of the story.
