Thanks Mr. Nice Guy Games

By Osoroshii, in X-Wing

Mr. nice Guy Games hosted a Regionals Championship Saturday May 3rd. The tournament was run by a group of guys who came up from Maryland with Roy as the judge, I believe the name of their group was Nova but may be wrong. The event was run really well. On top of the great prizes included in the Tournament kit from FFG, Mr. Nice Guy Games tossed in a play mat for the top 8. I placed in the top 4 at the event and here is all the swag I walked away with:

The group of guy there were friendly and some of the best X-Wing players I've seen, including Paul Heaver our current world champ. I hope to see you all again at Nationals in Aug. Mr. Nice Guy Games, I look forward to coming back for another fun filled day of X-Wing. Thanks to everyone.

Yeah, it was a great venue and the people running the store (and those running the tournament) were nice. I had a good time.

Well.. if you came in top 4... that must mean you had the triple X list... you got to see me at my worst in R5... I votta build up my stamina before the next regional apparently. Congrats man.

Yes, indeed I was the 3 X-Wing build. It's nice to have a face with the name. I hope to face you again at the top tables at Nationals.

Yes, the 3 X-Wing build with Opportunist is the list I played to top 4.

The game shoppe is Bellevue Nebraska had awesome extra prizes too, the TO gave away his dice set to 9th place, and in between each game we had random drawings for alternet art cards, special menouver templates, the top 8 all got gift cards from 25$ to 100$ based on where they placed and 4sets of imperial aces. Also the player who placed dead last was given a free rebel transport

Mr. Nice Guy was a great store, and the event was a lot of fun! Thanks to the store owners for keeping open until 2am when it all finished! If they have a regional next year, I'll definitely return.

Is there a site I can buy that star mat from? That is a beauty.

Mr. Nice Guy Games mentioned where they got them made at but I just don't recall. From what a gathered the price of the mats is between $60-70. If another member who attended the event knows I'm sure they will help. You also could contact the store through their web site at: http://mrniceguygames.com .
