I'm wanting to run a simple rebel fleet to capitalise on as many fighters as possible (whilst still maintaining some competitiveness). Thus far I am leaning towards XXBYY, all naked.

Thoughts, comments, ideas?

Lots of different dials to deal with if you want to keep the close and focus fire. I've seen BBBAA (all naked) work very well. The A's make great blockers and the Bs represent 24 hp of survivabiliy.

I'll be getting a couple of games in tomorrow night, I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Not sure Y-wings are worth it with an empty turret slot.

Push the As out in front of the Bs and stall out his initial run at you hopefully blocking actions and movement. Have the Bs hang back so they can get a range 2-3 shot, a range 1 shot followed by that right 2 k turn and another range 1-2 shot. By then, hopefully you've down 1-2 ships and it's just clean up from there on out.
