Under "special rules" for this (huge ship) mission, BOTH "controlling a mine" AND "intercepting the transport" indicate that they are activated "at the beginning of each end phase". So which is done first? This is critical on whether or not a mine is switched control before or after it can be detonated. I can't find a statement indicating which goes first, since BOTH say "at the beginning of each end phase". Am I missing something? Or should this be FAQ'd as well?
Mission H1: Evacuation - clarification request
We played it that the "control" phase happened before the "intercepting" phase for two reasons. 1) it was listed first in the rulebook, and 2) if it was the other way around then trying to control a mine would be useless - the Imperial player would get to trigger it before control was determined. Honestly as written it needs a FAQ, but to play it the other way would be broken.
Edited by ziggy2000I had the same question and in the end I came to the same conclusion as ziggy2000. If the imperial player uses the mine before the rebels have a chance to take control it would be broken. All you could do with the transport is go strait as fast as you could and prey the dice god was on your side.
Same conclusion here. Just played yesterday and tried to find this info. -couple of hours earlier than this topic was created ![]()
I don't have the mission rules in front of me... but in general if the 2 players have abilities that go off at the same time, the player with initiative does their ability first.

And that gives us the definitive answer I think, because Rebels have initiative in the scenario. As usual dbmeboy sees beyond the fog of war that sometimes clouds my vision.
I'm just happy that I finally got back in to answers a rules question before Buhallin beat me to it. He's so fast and I can't lurk quite as much as I'd like to... ![]()
