Anybody else notice the YT-1300, possibly the Millennium Falcon, was in Revenge of the Sith. Forum won't let me post a picture but I can see about a video.
Yep, along with a Tantive IV.

Outsider did show up in the redone episode 4, as did the imperial landing craft, can't remember the name, but it would be an interesting addition.
Beyond that, there isn't much for rebels, though there are dozens of options for the imperials.
I think some of the main starfighters (naboo, jedi, arc-170,v-19, v-wing) would be interesting and mostly competitive. Though I think most would end p with only 2 attack dice...
Sentinel-class landing craft
I hope it isn't prequal ships... I really want my Outrider.

I'd be surprised if we see any new EU models after the non-canon announcement.
The new canon announcement doesn't cut out all of the EU. They went out of their way to say that they would have leeway continue to borrow from it going forward. I'm betting that Disney knew they were going this route long before they greenlit wave 4, and it is entirely EU ships. I imagine we will continue to see more as well.
I also tend to agree with the folks saying that there aren't many ships from the prequels that fit within the factionality of current X-Wing. I could see the ARC popping in some day, but I think that is about it.
Edited by DamoelNo citation, but I thought that FFG does not have license to prequel ships.
Nothing personal, but this is a ridiculous rumor that keeps resurfacing needlessly.
It may be mistakenly based on FFG comments (there are a few) that have limited this game to the Galactic Civil War era. That intention of FFG is well-established, but it doesn't preclude a related/separate Clone Wars era game, nor does it preclude the already-extensive inclusion of Clone Wars era elements in the X-Wing game (Senator's shuttle and seismic charges being the favorite examples).
In real life, I believe FFG's licensure of Star Wars properties is much less absolute than "does not have license to prequel ships". Disney doesn't even manage licensing for Star Wars; LFL does ( source ). Since LFL already greenlighted the inclusion of prequel elements, as has been demonstrated many times, then it seems likely that FFG could just as easily do prequel ships.
The real question is whether or not they want to.

Not bad
Looks like they've sliced a couple of bits out of a TIE Advanced, have printed some custom cards for it and are selling it as new?
The damnable ebay opportunists are really starting to get behind this game!
Its too expensive
... point-wise ;P
Actually, I can believe that the license would stipulate "No prequel-era ship models."
It has to do with how Lucasfilm licenses things. There's a guy I know who works for Revel of Germany, which produces Star Wars model kits. He says under their license, they may only make their model kits just so realistic. It can't be an exact copy, because exact duplicates fall under a much more expensive license that Finemolds/F-Toys and Master Replicas bought. So you get Millennium Falcons with too-high sidewalls, Y-wings with panel lines on the engine domes, and other problems that modelers have to fix. They're constrained to follow exacting procedures for how the ships are supposed to look and feel.
And as crazy as this is, it is entirely possible that FFG's license states that they may not produce Prequel-era ships as combative game pieces. Whether this is true is up for debate obviously, but it's still a distinct possibility.
And of course, that hypothetical stipulation doesn't govern the cards and the tokens. Only the actual miniatures. So the fact that we've got the Senatorial Shuttle and Bail Organa on tokens and cards is irrelevant. Same with the B-1 Battle Droids in EotE. The license is likely silent on the matter of tokens and cards and such, and it might not cover EotE, which is a roleplaying game. Legal stuff is funny that way.
And really, I'm not sure I'd like to see Prequel stuff anyway. Some of it maybe, but I want to keep my collection OT-era related.
And by the way, the Millennium Falcon and Slave I are *not* prequel vessels. They've always been considered Original Trilogy ships because that's where they were first seen. What paint jobs are on those two minis? I can tell you they don't look like the Stellar Envoy or Jango's ship. Same with the Tantive IV. In fact, the ship in RotS isn't even the Tantive IV. It's the Sundered Heart.
Yep, my point is dump since it originated from the original trilogy and therefore is an original trilogy NOT prequel ship. But is that the direction this thread is going?

23 points for this? And a crappy dial, too? C'mon who did this? The model is fine but the guy who created this has obviously no idea 'bout the game xD

Actually, I can believe that the license would stipulate "No prequel-era ship models."
Anything is possible. They could quite easily write the contract that way. What I don't buy is that somehow the Prequel and OT stuff are as a matter of default different. Like somehow FFG had the option of paying for one or the other, and couldn't get both.
That said the example you list isn't the same thing as if FFG can make prequel ships or not. That's more like a way for LFL to sell a license to more then one company. So you have the low quality but cheap models vs the high quality expensive ones.
Oh! The new ship from star wars rebels, the ghost, would be a cool ship along with that new TIE fighter used by the main bad guy.
Both would be interesting additions also.
This is my bet for one of the potential Wave 5 builds. The tie-in timing for the Ghost would be perfect for the fall release of Star Wars: Rebels.

They are different in the sense that the Original Trilogy ships are the ones people typically associate with Star Wars, at least outside the fandom. I don't think it was an option for them, either. Disney seems to be gearing toward the new Star Wars film, and it would make sense to promote OT-era stuff. I can't say for certain if this is true, but it seems logical at least.
I know it's not the same thing. It was an example of how crazy-specific licensing deals are. There's no legal reason why they can't specify OT-era ships and things that are from the pre-1999 EU.

Yeah it does seem like they're trying to at least phase out the prequel stuff. I know how odd these deals can get.
But I've heard over and over again "FFG doesn't have the Prequel license..." like somehow there's a separate license for OT vs Prequel, rather then just a license for Star Wars, that covers what ever the contract says it covers.
It's definitely not just a general "Star Wars License". Real licenses specify what they can and cannot produce under it. I think Master Replicas were not allowed to produce full Stormtrooper armor sets under theirs, for instance (it's been a while since I participated in these discussions over at the RPF, so don't quote me on that).
It's definitely not just a general "Star Wars License".
Well perhaps it's better to put it this way. The license is what ever the two parties work out. That agreement may include a lot of things, and may very well not include the prequel items. But there isn't a generic OT license and a generic Prequel license.
Some thoughts about future release first. The new movies will begin at the end of 2015 so we have an eighteen month gap before new material is available to FFG. FFG will likely get access to this new material to begin development under a NDA but they won't be allowed to release anything until the movie is released. So they have 18 months to cover using whatever material is still available to them. In that time period it would be likely that they will be looking to release at least one wave, probably two based upon their current increased release schedule. So when thinking about what we might see, we should probably be looking at another eight ships to cover two waves and another Huge ship or two thrown into the mix. In between that there will likely be addition Aces packs released or something of a similar vein.
Regarding prequel ships, I think some of them are likely to be released into this game, but only those that were actually still fighting during the rebellion era. So ARC-170 and V Wing are both likely whilst the V19 is unlikely since it had been largely phased out by the time of the rebellion.

Well, if we're going down the wish-upon-a-star route, then here's my own wild hopes (funnily enough, they're not all that dissimilar):

T-Wing Interceptor:

(Alternatively, because I'd like some bounty hunter/mercenary/pirate fighters to go alongside the Firespray, or potentially able to fly for either faction)
Razor Fighter:

(look familiar?)
Planetary Defender Fighter:

BFF-1 Bulk Freighter or Container Transport:

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Container_transport
(or a modular, snap-fit box set that can build either of them or four individual cargo containers. I'd like to see these not just because they're the stock Imperial equivalent to the GR-75, but because they would be really handy to replace some of the tokens currently used in the objective games.)

I see 2 possible ships for x-wing in this video. For the Empire the mini Tie-carrier right at the beginning would be COOL
