Transport in the uk

By mikeyboy403, in X-Wing

Has anyone got a rough idea when we will have the transport over here. I know it wasn't long from US release to UK release for the aces pack.

Also does anyone know when the Battle field in a box laser turrets are being released.

I want my new toys!!!!!!!

Element Games has it due for the 15th May, Wayland has it due for 30th June. I'd imagine (hope) Element Games is probably closer to the mark.

I suspect they should have any day now. I ordered from bookdepository (uk based) yesterday and they don't offer them on preorder so must have stock on hand, usually shipping in 48 hours according to the website.

Before they sold out, Chaos Cards had them on pre-order with estimated shipping date as 30th April. However, mine has yet to be dispatched :(

I had a look at them on Amazon*, they said in stock, but when I placed the order they didn't expect to dispatch it until wednesday next week, and didn't expect delivery for "3 to 12 days" after that. Screw that, I cancelled. Has yours been dispatched yet?

Book Depository has a hefty discount on it though (£33 rather than the £45-50 I've seen elsewhere). Probably competing with the other company on Amazon. For that heavy a discount I can wait a week or two for delivery.

Boad Game Extras told me they would get them in the week starting 12th May.

I got the same email as Niall, they also said that they expected wave 2 & 3 restocks in the same delivery

Wave 2 restocks? must get a-wings must get a-wings

Um so my Book Depository order said that it was dispatched earlier today :)

Mine's predicted to dispatch this weekend.

Same here

Pants, now I wish I'd not cancelled my order from them!

Ordered on amazon.co.uk, it has been on "not yet dispatched: delivery estimate: we need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. we'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date." since the beginning of March. I contacted them and they responded:

I'm sorry to learn that until now we are still unable to dispatch to you the "Star Wars X-Wing: Rebel Transport Expansion Pack" from your order.

I've checked and I can confirm that the item is tagged as currently unavailable.

I understand that you want to know if when will his order be available as it is already available with our partner websites.

The availability and dispatch times listed on our website are estimates only, and not guarantees. While we do our best to stick to these estimates, our inventory is constantly changing based on information we receive directly from our suppliers, and occasionally, unexpected fluctuations in supply can result in us being unable to fulfil an order.

While we don't like to see this happen, and our inventory team try to avoid it at all costs, due to the size of our catalogue it's occasionally unavoidable.

In this case, I have asked our buying team to look into this issue. Please note that while most issues are resolved within 3-5 business days, in some cases it may take longer for us to investigate.

I will contact you again within 5 business days with an update. Please be aware that this is the maximum amount of time it will take for us to update you.

That was 3 days ago, so with the weekend that will be in between I dont expect any answer until at least Tuesday, and than it will still probably be "we dont know"

God it's annoying when they fill their responses with that form letter crap isn't it? I'd much rather just have that last sentence - the bit about "I'll check with the buying team and get back to you".

Will you let us know what they say? My pre-order is in the same status.

nice to know i`m not the only one waiting for amazon

Wow. That seems to good to be true, I thought I got mine cheap at £40. I'm tempted to cancel my order and buy from them instead - can't cancel until Tues now though so might be cutting it a bit close.

Me too - plus another FFG retailer has told me the same.

Of course by the time I recieved the email advising me of the earlier than expect release date, BGE had sold all of their pre-order allocation so I had to buy elsewhere - typical innit!

I suspect that any sellers who are describing them as "in stock" at the moment is counting on the fact that they'll have received the stock by the time their customers start complaining about the time it's taking for the items to be dispatched

I too am waiting on Amazon. I have this horrible feeling that they're trying to wiggle their way out of honouring the low pre-order price (£33).

Book Depository is selling through Amazon so I doubt Amazon would let them even if they wanted to. Once you order it locks in everything from cost to delivery cost. A couple of people in this thread have also reported dispatches from Book Depository already, so they are honouring it. They just have slow delivery.

Any response from them yet?

Book Depository (Amazon seller) show them in stock again now so I've put another order in with them (cheaper than Amazon directly too), will wait for one to dispatch and cancel the other.

No, nothing yet, but I did just read that other topic, and be sure to mention that if they stick to the story that they dont know anything.

Ordered it from book depository directly. Since I ordered it on may 2nd the status is "processing". It also says "usually dispatched within 48 hours", not sure if weekend days count in that regard... Curious if they will dispatch.

Just to repeat my post in the other UK Transport thread, Chaos Cards informed me that they are expecting Rebel Transports tomorrow or Thurs, so fingers crossed. CHa
