Stress

By ravenwolf64, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Dear Gurus,

"If a ship already has a stress token assigned to it and it reveals a red maneuver during the Activation phase, the opposing player chooses any non-red maneuver on that ship’s dial for the ship to execute. After a ship executes a green maneuver, remove one stress token from it."

I assume since it says 'ship executes' and not player that if opposing player choses a green maneuver the stress is still removed? Thanks :)

After the opponent chooses the manouver, the ship will execute it, so if your opponent chooses a green manouver, it will remove stress.

And then you offer that opponent your eternal gratitude and possibly a steak dinner for their generosity.

Except that you realise that yoir ship now points the wrong way and can only avoid the asteroid next turn by flying totally off the board :)

Which in all fairness, should still result in a steak dinner and some good post-game discussion.

Thank you all for quick answer and for the lols :)
