Because I can't get the search function to work at all to find this, I had a question due to playing a random game with a friend last night.

Leave at Dawn's R ability is -

R: When you discard 1 or more cards due to your opponent's card effect, those cards are added to your momentum instead and you may add X cards from your discard pile to your hand. X equals the number of cards added to your momentum from this effect.

1. His pyron mill deck made me discard cards off the top of my deck. He wanted to know if Leave at Dawn's R was for discarding ANYWHERE or just from hand. I am pretty sure it is ANYWHERE, but would discarding cards from deck let me instead put those cards in momentum and draw from discard?

2. Is destroying the same as discarding? Or is destroyed considered different even though the card gets discarded?

3. This has to do with the drawing part of Leave at Dawn. It doesn't say draw from the top of your discard pile, is it assumed you can pick any X cards from your discard and draw them?

Discard, unless otherwise specified, means from the hand only. leave at dawn doesn't specify anything else, so it can only respond to discard from hand.

That should just about cover everything except the last bit.

Yeah, you can get anything out of your discard pile. It doesn't say "draw" from your discard pile, it says to "add cards". Can be anything from your discard.
