So, while doing my research on how to properly light up a GR-75, I came across conflicting information regarding the number of secondary drives.

Per the schematic:

There are 6 secondary drives. This would indicate three on each side, and one of the engine pod area things would have 2 drives from it, likely the interior one since it's slightly larger. Makes sense. But then when you look at pictures of them without the engines on, such as:

You can clearly see each area has 2 engines in it, for a total of 8 secondary engines.

So, am I misinterpreting what an "engine" is? Or is there somewhere that states what it truly is? Or is there just conflicting info and I will have to choose which want I want to build my ship?

I think it's supposed to have 6 secondary if you look at the scenes from ESB (or maybe even 4), you can't really see double exhausts like you can in your picture. But honestly, I would go with what your model ends up having. I don't have a trasnport yet but if it has 8 I'd wire it for 8 engines.
