[Paintjob] Soontir Fel with Stealth Device

By Keffisch, in X-Wing

It started with the TIE Interceptor expansion:

He's been like that for ages but now I felt like he needed a Stealth Device, sooooo I grabbed another Squint and started painting. Now the Baron flies in style!

The unfortunate side effect is that I cannot stop myself from making noises whenever he moves.

Great work, love the energy-line between cloaked and not!

Wow!

That is awesome!

That is super creative. Nice! Very cool... can't wait to see what you do to the TIE Phantom!

This is great.

Great effects!

Beyond awesome

o.O I want one.... that's awesome.

My god, it's full of awesome! Great concept, great execution. Sell me one!!!

Very creative and nice paint job.

I was planning to do pretty much exactly that with my Phantoms. Though the Stygian cloaking devices were more purple-ish than blue, as I recall.

Do it and post it...

...you know you want to

That looks bad @$$..... just sayin

Like it... :)

Excellently executed paintjob... it looks exactly how I picture the cloaking device to work. I was never too sure what the stealth device did and your interpretation is very cool. I would also think that stealth device could simply be an electronic "jammer" system that deceives targeting computers.

I saw this done on WH40K Tau Stealth Suits and really wanted to do it on a Phantom, great execution on an awkward shape like an Interceptor, very nicely done!

Stealth is actually more of an ECM/Paint scheme not a true cloak.

That being said, still an interesting and good looking piece. I highly suggest doing this on the phantoms.

Great job. Love the shimmer of the cloaking and the great starfield "camouflage." Top notch.

No ship that small can have a cloaking device.

Nicely done!

Wow, that looks awesome!

That is a stunning paint job. I wish I were so talented.

Beautiful!

I hate paint threads...

I love this paint job!
