I realize that the EotE system is flexible enough so that I could use an existing module from one of the older Star Wars RPG systems with little translation work needed. I don't know where to start with those books though. Do you guys have any recommendations, and how do they stack up against the current line of modules?
Recommendation for modules please
I'm not sure about modules, but there are a ton of adventures in the old WEG RPG book. I scored a free copy about a month ago and looked through them. The only drawback is that they seem to focus on the Rebellion and Jedi. It'll be handy to have once the AoR core book comes out.
On a side note, I was amazed at how much they used the movie characters in that game. Almost every adventure had a main player in it, one way or the other. Crazy.
Modules? you mean adventures?
The old WEG ones tend to have the players be part of the Rebellion. but there is some nice supplements like "Wretched hives of scum and villainy" which has some nicely fleshed out locales. Or if you want to go into bounty hunting, "NO disintegrations" is a good one. Then there is "Secrets of the Sissar run" which puts you up to you necks into the Black sun
Dawn of Defiance (saga) was fun. It had a freakin' dance-off!
Edited by Col. OrangeIf you have Scum & Villainy (Saga Edition) I heartily recommend The Fell Star adventure. Very fun with an EotE group.

Been on the receiving end of that one. Very good. Quite deadly. My group at its most powerless.
Our GM picked up Supernova and ran us through a couple of the modules in there. He did a pretty solid job converting the system to work with Edge; it was pretty seamless. Although the last one we ran through ended up making us seriously consider dumping our Wookiee into the nearest black hole. In the words of Gob Bluth, he made a huge mistake.
