I wanted to know how you plan on storing the Huge ships? I don't think my Plano case will work anymore...
How will you transport the Transport?
I was psyched to learn that the Rebel Transport will fit in one of the large cases from my Plano 732 tackle box.
Normally I have been using one of the big boxes for Rebel ships and the other for Imperials. The third, for now at least, will hold my Rebel Transport and the assorted tokens, etc.
Sadly, I don't expect the Blockade Runner to fit, but if it does, I will definitely store it with the transport.
I will be cutting my own foam and then putting it in my PACK 720. I might wait until wave 4 to do all my foam at once though, so I know exactly how everything will fit. I will probably just put the 2 transports in the same tray as the 2 corvettes I am getting.

I'll end up doing something similar once I convert over to Battlefoam or someone similar at the end of the year. Until then, it will live in it's plastic clam shell, probably in a shoe box and travel in that since I won't need to lug it around to games nights, each week, just when I have an Epic game planned. I'll also be setting up a Plano case to hold additional bases, and all the other stuff required for Epic Play so that I don't end up carting it around to regular games each week either.
I have all of my star wars stuff in an Army Transport Case, it has foam inside and I just pulled it out and made room. fits nicely.
Simple an effective.

The transport fits just fine in the Plano 5321, and in a bunch of the other popular Plano sizes. I've got mine in the 1.5" layer of pluck foam I filled out my Battlefoam case with, and I have room for the 2nd transport that's coming with my CR-90 as well, plus a couple other medium ships.
Paper boxes from work and foam bought at Walmart makes transport easy, that's how I move my big Warhammer models (which seem to keep multiplying in my closet when I'm not looking).
Edited by SanchezIt's probably in its own plastic like all the ships come... for the big ships, I left them in that and use a tote bag to carry them.. probanly just leave the transport in its plastic and add it to the bag.. easy enough
The giant bulges on top should fit one. And the Blockade Runner should fit in the top section.I was psyched to learn that the Rebel Transport will fit in one of the large cases from my Plano 732 tackle box.

I was just looking at my Plano 732 thinking the same thing about the huge ships.

Not gonna lie...I lawled a little at your last comment.
both will fit in the top section of the plano 1374

I plan to add a Pack Plus to my Pack 216.

I think I'm gonna upgrade my current Plano box to this one.
Just had a crazy idea - they SHOULD make a Star Destroyer for the game, or some other huge ship. But it has an attachable handle and it opens up for massive amounts of xwing storage. Dual purpose! That way you can also spot a fellow winger walking around town with his star destroyer. <drops mic, walks out>.

That's a nice case. I just got one to store my tokens cards, dials etc.
It has a hyperdrive hasn't it? :-P
no seriously I'll probably end up getting some more KR foam, they also have very nice trays for all the cards tokens etc.

Nice you may also be interested in the Plano 7771 the center console has an opening of around 9" x 9" too small for the vette but should hold 2/3 transports just fine, though note that the 7771 comes with 4 3701 trays which has a smaller height than the Plano's 1374 trays (3750)

Nice I have one for each faction and filling fast.
Much like a few others, I'll be using the tops of my Plano 732s for the transport, though I may have to look into ordering more with how quickly they're becoming filled.
The first Transport transport is away
I've just started using KR Multicase. They have custom foam trays for waves 1-3. I didn't see anything that would hold a Transport or CR-90. Does anyone know how quick they are to update their product line?
I use the plano style boxes but carry everything in a dufflebag I got for 2 bucks. For these I'll keep them in the clam shell case and put them in the bag with my other large ships.
I'm wondering the same thing. I'm planning on at least 2 GR-75s, and 1 CR-90. But I want to have enough space for any imperial huge ships. My current toolbox will likely be full after W4 (without the large ships)... So I might split up into Rebel/Imp forces, and then keep the huge ships with their respective affiliation... And just bring the rebel box wherever I go since I rarely play imps... Just leave them in the trunk. While I could put a second set of tokens and everything in the box for the imps, I wouldn't be able to split up the upgrade cards... So herm... Choices...
For now, I have everything except the ship and cardboard base in my regular box, and the one GR-75 in its clamshell packaging.
