A fansite I can understand. I considered doing one, myself, and even grabbed a couple domains - radiojedi.com and jediradio.com - to do a fansite and podcast. (Sadly, the people who were going to work with me on it backed out, and I don't have the time to do it all on my own.) But a forum? What could an off-site forum offer that couldn't be handled here, other than a direct connection to the fansite?

If the site offers something different to the forum then I guess it could be fun. But I prefer visiting fan blogs and watching YouTube clips when not here.

yeah yeah yeah. wow some small mistake and get a response like that. to bad you didn't do your research on who i am and how i can turn most things into something huge. anyhow, thank you all for the time and that person just turned me off from here.

First of all, I don't need to research you, regardless of what you meant by your threat.

Secondly, you don't need to be so sensitive and go from loving a forum to leaving it because one person suggests you work on your grammar.

If I phoned in, you'd hear the good humoured fun in my voice and I'm sure many here would be similar. But words on a screen can easily be misunderstood.

my grammar as you all want to pick on is cause if anyone noticed im kinda a busy person...let alone 2 jobs. but seriously i was going to do this, but i think i rather not have the head aches. i got more people on interviews to do...so nice thought, wish i could delete this thread now....

I have worked 15 hours shifts for 2 months straight without a day off in sight and I don't recall ever not having enough time to use the Shift key.... Let alone throw in an apostrophe or just be able to present myself well in general.

If you don't have time to type properly, why would you think you had enough time to build a site? It's not a 'if we make it, they will come' kind of situation, ESPECIALLY if you want to get into interviewing people. Watch the Order 66 podcast and tell me you think that guy just plugs in his mic, calls someone up, and does it all in his spare time.

There is a LOT of work that goes into anything like that.

When I first posted a topic, I made a obviously stupid mistake and it was pointed out. My response: "Doh! oops!" To respond any other way is childish.

All new guys, and ladies, might get some fun poked at them and how they respond tells a lot about their character. I was once sensitive and made an ass out of myself for being so. Now I have a sense of humour, don't take myself too seriously and one of my "tormentors" is one of my best friends who has thankfully forgiven my childish stupidity. It is a lesson you should learn if you want to survive here.
