how sturdy are the new transport bases? in pictures they seem kind of spindly??? personally i think the bottoms of them should be linked some how for structural integrity, i will of course evaluate this on my own when ever my transports arrive..

It took a little work to get the "pegs" completed seated over the base token on the stands, but once everything was in place the entire ship is quite sturdy. And it is a little heavier than I expected it would be. It will be just fine for play. Not likely to tip over or come apart.

They are sturdy, they are not the same large bases that come with the Falcon and other large ships. Which I thought was kinda strange, but they work well.

so do they disassemble easy? as i don't plan on leaving the bases attached when i store them? just wondering..

Yep. No problem at all. Just weird that they look the same as the other large bases but are slightly different. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get my falcon on the wrong base the other night Till I realized it was the Huge Ships base.
