Runesword

By player1618597, in Talisman Rules Questions

When you kill an enemy with the runesword you gain a life... can you get more lives than the ones you started?

When there is two or more enemy cards in a space, you fight them all at once adding their strenghts, but when you defeat them with a runesword you get only one life? you get one life for each of them?

Thanks! ;)

Answer: If the text stated gain a life, then you can have more life than your starting lives.

Answer 2: If it is stated as you say, you gain a life for each enemy that you defeat.

Answer 2 - Gain 1 life only. It is resolved as a single battle and the enemies fight as one entity.

yes it's weird but right, if you think that if you lose the combat you lose only 1 life,

so if you win with the runesword you gain only 1 life!

That's right.aplauso.gif

That's why I'm playing with a rule, whenever we're fighting with multiple enemies and we're defeated, we lost 1 Life per Enemy in that fight.

Interesting. Can we extend this concept to the Dark Cultist?

I didnt know that you get only 1 life from multiple enemies, never happened here but very nice to know it!

we play for every enemy you encounter you roll 1 die for each of them adding the attack scores together.,

Which again is completely wrong according to the rules! If you want to use it as a house rule then it is up to you.
