How do You think is there a chance that FFG could make a revised edition of this game with one box and 6 armies? Also such a edition should have each card in 3 copies. The armies wuold be already done so You can play right out of the box.

Personaly I think that such a edition has realy small chances to be done but it a nice idea.

I think that the chance of that happening can be summed up with two words: "no way".

As {klaymen_sk} indicated though, there is no chance of that happening mainly (my thoughts):

- It would be a nightmare to decide which cards of each faction should include in the revised edition.

- The moment this happens, potential new customers will not purchase any previously battle packs in which the retailers

had purchased and are now still carrying in their inventories and trying to sell them out.

- I have noticed FFG has listed Warhammer Invasion base game as being re printed. So the demand is still there in the current

setup (Deluxe editions and battle packs) so I can not see why would FFG offset this pattern.

That would be a very large, very expensive box, so it would only be appealing to people who are already playing the game competitively. However, competitive players probably already have most of those cards and wouldn't be interested in buying them again.

If they would make a revised edition it would not include all cards from all expansions but rather make 6 armies out of the box to play with some neutral cards for small changes. This would make a great addition to the game and also a nice product to close the line. Let us be honest - this game is still reprinted but will not get any new expansions so why not make a revised edition with 3 copies of each cards and some armies to play right out of the box?

It would be great to something like this but I also know that the chances for it are very, very small or even zero.

Who is the audience for something like this? If you're a new player, the core set is fine. If you're a veteran player, you probably already have the cards. If you're talking about bundling the core set with Assault on Ulthuan and including three copies of all cards...you're talking about a very large, very expensive box. The only people likely to buy something like that are players with A) disposable income, and B) are certain that they want to get into the game on a competitive level. Not a very large market.

I think a reprint of the Core set with current errata and 3x of each card would have been a nice "experiment" to test he feasibility of other core sets being in that format. Nothing to lose really; they aren't developing or supporting the game anymore, and if it didn't sell well... they wouldn't have to reprint the core set for a very long time.

Agree with skwizzle. What I could imagine instead is having pre-build decks like battle packs. I mean would be nice to new starters to have a chance to buy starter packs which includes chosen cards around a play concept (eg.: Orc rush, DE deck mill). I still see sometimes new starters' comments here and even myself just trying to build a "WHI community" in west London collect couple of my friends and family members. I just love this game.

But I wouldn't like to buy more and more cards and share my own entire card collection with my whole "community" if you know what I mean. But the other hand I think new players won't invest heavily into a dead game to get a proper deck to play, therefore setting up pre-build collections and sell as starter packs would be still a good idea for FFG (with or without card corrections, or errata reprint).

I wish FF would do give this great game another go. We never even got Tomb kings and Ogre kingdom factions!
