I notice that the batch of base game lieutenants that FFG are shipping from their manufacturer to the US for distribution next month (information from the "coming soon" section of their website) are all labelled as "updated".

Does anyone know what the changes are? Is model design changes or plot deck wording changes or what?

I don't believe there are changes to any of these. They are "reprints", meaning they sold out of original stock an are making more of the same.

maybe one or two things, but nothing really big (a missing word for example)

The updated tag refers to the status comment regarding availability, not the actual product.
