Epic Steam Roller question

By cert13, in X-Wing

So as we have seen in the new Epic rules the ships can be used as a board clearing monster if you manage shields and energy. But I have not seen two questions that have come to mind.

1. The rules state that small/medium ships crash into them on movement like bumping another ship. So is this for all maneuvers or just the ones without sufficient distance to cross the base?

2. If an Epic steam roller miss judges a sweeping turn and goes off the play area are the hits resolved before the ship leaves play. Not that I can see this happening often but it is a possibility.

1) Overlap only happens if the final position of the ship overlaps any other ship. The movement template is not relevant. So you can fly over (or under) a huge ship.

2) Under normal circumstances, an overlap moves your ship back. If the ship leaves the table after that "overlap movement" it is destroyed. That indicates that overlap happens prior to leaving the table . If we apply that to huge ships, which may not be legitimate, the ships are destroyed.
