Harley shot first!

By Red Castle, in X-Wing

I just wanted to share this scene from Harley Quinn #4, it made me laugh. If I was not allowed to, please delete this post.

They couldn't be original? Had to rip off Star Wars, and in a hamfisted way too.....

Heh, an R2-D2 shake.

"Beer is proof that god loves us, and wants us to be happy."

This amuses me.

Interesting

I love it!

It's called an "Homage". And that's why Harley keeps talking about the script.

Seems like more of an homage to Deadpool, if you ask me.

Considering Deadpool was an homage/rip off of Deathstroke in the first place, I think it's fair play from DC to take some idea from this character.

I love the poster in the background too.

Quality Beer or Bundaberg Rum, I'm happy either way

Deadpool's character/personality is nothing like Deathstroke's.

I can't wait until they give us the special edition where she waits for him to fire before stabbing him in the chest like a polite psycho.

Well yeah... But he was an homage none the less. Unless you think Wade Wilson isn't referential to Slade Wilson, and the costume/power similarities mean nothing...

Both are also mercenary and anti-hero. At least Marvel had the decency of not trying to hide it by giving pretty much the same real name.

Rip-off and homage is part of the comic book industry. Both companies, Marvel and DC, are guilty of it. I totally agree that the Harley Quinn comics is trying to do what Marvel did with Deadpool. Not sure if I like it, but it gives me a change of the other comics I read. It's good to read a comic that doesn't take itself too seriously and is just there to entertain.

That was cool. Thanks for sharing.
