Now we are getting Chardaan Refit in rebel aces i started to think of another refit I would like to see. What if there was a refit for the Y wing that allowed it to drop bombs. One of this torpedo slots could be filled with a card that said

This card allows your ships second torpedo slot to take bombs.

or something like that for zero points but the loss of a torpedo slot then the Y wing could ion a ship then drop a bomb for it to land on next turn. I would also like the card to not be Y wing or Rebel only B wings and the bomber could benefit from it as well

I would like the ability to use charadan on the tie advanced.

I have a feeling we're going to be seeing some more Y-Wing centric upgrades in the semi-near future, aside from the obvious new torpedoes and astromech units we'll be getting. A Y-Wing bomber would be great, or at least some kind of alternate version.

Also, there have been many EU materials with various standard TIE/Ln and TIE/IN who can use torpedoes and missiles and the like. I'd be kinda curious to see if that might be something that'd be implemented in the future (probably not, and likely not a free upgrade, but an interesting thing to think about). A variant TIE Bomber card that made them into TIE Shuttles would be cool too (drop secondary weapons, add a crew slot, change/improve maneuver colours a bit, replace Barrel Roll with Boost).

Y wing with a passenger slot, like Leia's y wing in splinter of the mind's eye. Maybe swapping out the turret or astromech?

Two-person Y-Wings did have turrets and astromechs though, so... perhaps just a title card much like the upcoming B-Wing upgrade?

How much should that cost? 2 points? You got to be careful with making the Advanced better than the Defender for the points.

Well it would have the same fire power and 1 less agility. And a worse dial. The defender would still have missile and a cannon slot. I think they are in different classes honestly. I think it should be a free upgrade and they would need some new pilots. As it stands now, there is no reason to field, much less buy and advance. Even Vader is better suited on a shuttle. The quirky rebel ships still give you options. HWK? throw a blaster on it and let it synergize with your squad. A-Wing, cheap missile holder. Just wish an iconic Imp ship would get some playtime and some love.

If you accept some arguments that the Advanced was supposed to the Imperial X-Wing (same cost for same PS and both have 3322 in their basic stat lists) I'll say you want to see the Advance with 3/3/2/2 taking the X-Wing's hull down to boost the Advance's Agility.

If the refit was there you would at least have the option to make the advance an x-wing clone in stats. The X-wing would still have the bump of astromech. But the advance gets a small lead in the ordnance department. The X-wing is the rebels most versatile ship and still a member of world winning championship squads. The advance was obsolete pretty much the time it was released.

how about the advance gets an "Avenger Upgrade" for 6 points to roll 3 attack put it on Storm Squadron Pilot brings them up to the same level as Blackmoon Squadron Pilot
