Can he do a 1 hard turn, then daredevil for a 180 in about the same space as a barrel roll or would that break the rule of doing the same thing twice?
So about Tycho+Daredevil
As far as I'm aware he can. One is a movement and the other is an action. Intercepters can do it too.
Correct. The daredevil movement is an action while his hard turn is a movement . You cannot perform more than one of the same types of actions in the same round.
Pretty much, but you can do this with generic Green Squadron Pilots as well, it doesn't -have- to be Tycho.
Actually, now I'm thinking about the possibilities you could have with this on A-Wings who can use the new Prototype Veteran card for the extra Elite Talent...
Using the Prototype Veteran card on Tycho lets you Push the Limit AND Daredevil... meaning you can do that hard turn, boost, and daredevil all together, for covering 5/8 of a full circle!
I'm going to make a list that has Jake Farrell and just fly in circles the whole match just because I can.

Can't do multiple boost actions in a single turn, even if they're free actions :/
I'd still give Farrell a PTL, to get Turr Phennir-esque economy off of teaming up with Garven Dreis, or better if he focuses too
It was meant as a joke... Oh well
Actually, Jake Farrell with this and Push the Limit is pretty interesting. Now you're forced to use the Focus first, but his sheer ability to move around in some weird ways while also gaining Focus is pretty danged cool...
Yea he could hard turn, focus, barrel roll, PTL and daredevil hard turn back to close to where he started.
I was trying to picture that in my head, wouldn't he boost instead of barrel roll?
Or am I getting dizzy from flying in circles?
He could boost, but then he would go beyond the 180. Which could work to your advantage.
Just that A-Wings don't have Barrel Roll...
Edit:Ahhhh... But Jake does.
I'm tired.
But if a pilot did PLT and Daredevil wouldn't that give him two stess tokens to deal with the next 2 rounds? Is that really better than a standard K turn followed by a green, provided you have the room to move?
I'd say it's more situational, but I'd like to think it'd be useful for dealing with Epic ships since they're just so incredibly massive, or screwing around with the TIE Phantom's ability to move when decloaking.
Is it wrong that when I hear cloaking, I think of the phantom wearing a London fog cloak, a top hat, a sinister mustache, a monocle and a wicked sneer going 'murrrah, murrah'
.

Stress doesn't prevent Tycho's ability to
Koiogran.
Perform Actions.
Also, on the A-Wing, the only non-green maneuvers are the 1 turn, the 3 turn, the 3 bank, the 3 koiogran, and the 5 koiogran. Of those, only the Koiograns are actually red, and prevented by stress.
So, yeah, on Greens, the double-stress is irksome. On Tycho, it's a moot point

Like this- but with a TIE Phantom body
Stress doesn't prevent Tycho's ability to Koiogran.
It doesn't? I've been under an entirely different impression...Stress doesn't prevent Tycho's ability to Koiogran.
I meant to perform actions. Don't you just hate it when you forget to edit your own statements?
Anyway, having a Daredevil for a Koiogran-esque maneuver and PTL to give you an action at the tail end of it certainly helps with your gameplay

My statements are usually even stupider after I edit them.
Now I'm in total agreement witcha.
