Preordered my Corvette this morning, I feel we need a club for such a group of esteemed players. Any other future owners feeling a bit smug right now?

I am trying to "keep up with the Jones's" but it's hard and I don't have a Corvette...yet.

I do have a Honda Accord though...

Still waiting for bloody amazon to confirm the delivery date, all the while asking me if i wish to cancel..

Pre-ordered mine along with the Rebel Transport back in February.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that supply will be enough to meet demand...

I preordered at Miniature Market but the street date isn't known yet.

Already planning to strip the model and repaint it, I'll post some Photoshops later. I'm strongly considering a primary color other than white so I can use colored primer from Army Painter, their bone color is great for my Deathwing.

I've ruled out yellow as a base primary color for the ship. Red or blue could be interesting and I'd also consider drilling out spots for LEDs after getting the paint off.

The LEDs would show up best on a dark paint scheme but dark tends to also be drab looking. These are the kits I'm looking at, I might order one and try lighting up my WH40k Ork Stompa that's partially built so I can test out the effect.

I'll need to frost some clear plastic or find something at a train store to cover the engine nozzles to diffuse the light so that it doesn't look like small lasers shooting out of the back. If I redo the turrets (the laser barrels look kinda small) I might be able to light them up as well as the bridge and few running lights here and there.

I've got one on preorder, and if I get some art commissions on my drawing table done then I plan on ordering a second one to repaint with a white, blue and gray color scheme.

I have a lot of ships. Way too many. I have 5 core sets, just for starters, and I have both huge ships on order, but count me out of the elitist club please. More interested in bringing more people into the game than wearing my plastic budget as some sort of badge of honor.

Good one, though I might ask someone to add more red to the model

Not a lot mind, just a few edges, maybe the 'hatches' on the side of the engines, stuff like that.
