Asking for a "fun list" is a loaded question. One persons idea of having fun (say that trio of Interceptor) may run into someone else's idea of fun (say Chewie w/Gunner plus two Y-Wings w/ Ion Turrets) and you can probably imagine how "fun" that will turn out to be. There is also the question of how skilled everyone is because a hard to fly squadron (those Interceptor) may be "fun" to someone while slow and steady (that turret list) could more some else's speed. Even without getting into the various squads some people's idea of "fun" is a bare bones list (say APx8) while others want everything tricked out to the max.

I say you should just find a builder and go crazy putting your own ships together however you like.

For the Imperials the Baron's Focus is a fun (and pretty competitive) list to fly:

BH + RecSpec

Backstabber

Night Beast

Fel + PtL + SD

This list is basically three interchangeable modules: the Bounty Hunter, the 2 TIEs and the Interceptor, that can be mixed and matched in various ways.

If flying elite 3s is up your alley, then:

Soontir Fel + PtL + SD + TC

Carnor Jax + PtL + SU

Turr Phennir + PtL + SU

Scarlet Cowgirl is supposed to be fun; SableGryphon, Rakky Wistol, and Brown_Bomber know more about it than I do.

I should have said I'm supplying all the gear ,I just wanted to have two balanced sides that I could make up beforehand.
