Nice! Its cool to see the Commander's tree. I like it.
It looks like both trees of the Diplomat (Agitator) and Commander (Tactitian?) have been changed considerably.
I think these aren't meant to be similar to what the actual trees will be. Looks more like they just rammed together bits and pieces of each of the trees to give the players some variety.
Right side of Commander is Tactician, left is Squad Leader, center is a mix of the three.
Bottom corners of Diplomat is Quarter Master, rest of the left is Agitator, rest of the right is Ambassador.
Quarter master, always important, it will be interesting to see how that plays out. It seems to me the Commander is going to need a high strain Threshold because all his ability's activate from strain.

This is exactly what was done for the Edge of the Empire Beginner Game characters. Their advancement trees were combinations from all three Specializations of their assigned Careers.

Yes, this.
FFG said in one of the design reviews that since specializations and character creation don't exist in the Beginner Game, they still wanted to give the feel of the career as a whole. They even pointed out that they realized giving 'true sight' to the soldier for a mere 15xp was kinda broken....they didn't want him to not have access to it.
