YG-4210

By Ryoden, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

My players chose an old YG-4210 as their ship but I was quite unable to find any floor plans that reflect the description and details of the book. So I made these and am sharing them with you in case any of you want them. They upgraded it to a triple barreled gun so I added that to the ship.

Enjoy

That comms/sensor dish on the ventral aft is going to be a PITA when you got bandits on your 6. I can see an Indiana Jones Last Crusade moment happening with that gun turret and that dish. :D

"DAD! Are we hit?"

"More or less. Son, I'm sorry... They got us."

I actually plan on using this very ship for my group when they get their ship. There are a few images if you search for YG-4210 Deck plan.

Here is one that I found a while back, it's hand drawn, but it could be useful. YG-4210 Deck Plan

Keep in mind that the YG-4210 is a pretty old ship. So that could give you lots of options to incorporate into the game. I have quite a few ideas for the one my group will get. I hope it ends up being fun for them and not too frustrating.

I just found this image . I think it should take care of your needs.

^ Same. Getting the 403 error as well.

I found that one as well and honestly used it to begin my own drawing. The problem being that I saw absolutely no way for 14 people to live a year on that deckplan. Nor is there room for 120 units of encumbrance. The ship as detailed for EotE is not that small.

The one that my group found is well over 150 years old. It already had numerous modifications and when they bought it it had cracks in the hull and a fried targeting system. The firsat thing they did was spend another few thousand credits fixing it up.

First and foremost, without all the cool stuff that Peter Thompson created and provided, I wouldn't have been able to make this. So mad props to Peter.

Second, this is the first time I have ever created anything like this, so it's very, very sloppy. However, I haven't seen too much else out there for the YG-4210 in the ways of a useable deck plan.

I think that Wookiepedia's suggested size of 24m ridiculous for a ship that has an occupancy of 12, capacity of 80, etc. So this deck plan is a guesstimate of what it would be. This isn't even close to canon...

I am going to use it for my game and my players, but thought others might want to use it as well.

Have at it!
