Would someone care to put what the damage cards are??
New spoilers from the Rebel Transport expansion (my copy arrived!)
Anyone else find it, not odd, but amusing that the mostly not going to be seen bottom of the ship has had more work put into painting it than the top. same amount of washing and shading+ colors.
Yeah, the detailing on the underside is amazing. Honestly, I didn't know what the underside of the ship looked like until that photo. You don't get a very good look as it is speeding away from Hoth. It almost makes my want to mount it upside down. ![]()

First thank you for all of your efforts that made my Friday stuck at work much more tolerable. The info provided has been a great boon to all of us. You are a great person and if we meet at a regional I for one will bye you a drink.
Thanks for the too-kind words! Just wanted to give a small bit back to the community.
I'll be at two regionals (Monroeville + near Niagara Falls in Canada), best of luck at yours!

Hey, greetings from North Bay. Much obliged for the pictures and information: I'm even more eager to receive mine on Thursday thanks to you, and I've been looking forward to this package ever since it was announced. :3
Pile of loot
Pic of transport in hand
Underside of transport in hand (this thing looks awesome underneath!)
Can't see the second pic. And it makes me sad.
neither of the jpg's will load for me
Just realized there's a third. The underside pic specifically won't load ![]()
Not sure if it's the same for you guys but I use Chrome and, though the pictures don't load here, I just right-click them and view in a new tab. Then I can see them just fine ![]()
can someone repost the pics with links in the form of the middle one, so we can all see them?
Just right click and open in new tab. It's FFG that's breaking them, the links themselves work fine.
So, regarding modification... Does it have any obvious split line like the shuttle does? It looks like to add engine light, one should be able to put the 3 LEDs in the engine pods, but it's hard to tell how thick the material is beyond it... Would you think that they're thick enough to drill 6mm through the entire way to the main part of the ship?
Can't. Wait. For. Mine.

Didn't work for me, also using Chrome
.
Actually I just refreshed and now I can see them here, weird. That underside looks awesome!
Edited by MandalorynOranjI got it to show the pic! You guys are right, the underneath is awesome
Are those peg slots the same as the large ship ones on the bottom of the ship and if so how flimsy does the model seem on the base? just that i had a few that cracked and wondered how fiddly it was to mount as there are 2 stems on this to line up.
That transport doesn't look very safe! It looks like those cargo pods could fall out any second, not to mention if they actually got shot at!! ![]()

They're similar to the big ship pegs but are reinforced and seem notably more sturdy--didn't have any real trouble getting it set up and seems like it'll hold together just fine.
Thanks for sharing your first impressions of the transport. The model looks really great on your gaming mat.
Could you please tell us the exact measurements of the transport? I found only guesses yet. Thanks a lot!

Just gotten very lucky. I dropped by B&N near me as I was out and about and they had 1 left on the shelf. The pictures do not do the model justice. It is really excellent.
Sorry if this has been revealed before, but did we ever figure out what those little green and red torpedo-looking tokens are? I can't seem to remember seeing that in any of the news blasts.
Turbolaser and ion shots from off board Star Destroyer and Ion Cannon, if your talking about what I think your talking about.
1 point for that first droid seems like pretty good value.
I forsee two things. One, that's gonna go on a lot of y-wings. Two, I'm going to hate it.

Ah right, for the mission, I remember that now. Thanks!
So I just realized that opportunist could help deal a LOT of damage against huge ships. Even if reinforced, the reinforce token is not focus or evade, so on a close range attack you could still get a number of hits thru.
Also, on another topic, just saw someone suggest Kamikaze style attacks. Let's say you have an academy or headhunter or 2 with 1HP left, and a corvette is low on health. You could deliberately collide, so then when the ship moves it could likely run over you and have to roll damage. Seems risky considering you could have another chance to attack, but if the corvette has close range weapons or there are enemy fighters on your trail, you could die without another chance to do damage. Could this strategy prove fruitful?
