...how are ya'll going to prepare for epic play? I currently only carry the acrylics with me, and don't bother with the cardboard ones. And this has been fine. I do have 2 sets of shields (well, and ions, but who cares about those) in order to cover everything. And I guess I'm not 100% covered with stress, as I only have 10 of those, and if I ever played a 8 TIE swarm vs. a 6 Z95 with Flechette... I could end up needing 8 from K turns, 6 from torps, 2 from crits for 16 total, but I highly doubt that I'll even need more than the 10 I have. And I guess once the Z-95's hit, I might need to bust out some of the cardboard TLs since there are only 5 acrylics.
But what about epic play, when there's 300 points? Heck, you could have a full squadron of B wings (Blues w/ AdvS x12 = 300 btw) needing 60 shields total! Or you could have 12 /ln and 9 /sa for 21 focuses and evades...
So, what are your plans for tokens? Are you going to mix the cardboards with the acrylics? Keep a separate area for all of the "epic play" tokens? Keep the epic ships apart from your regular fleet and put all the extra tokens with them?
I'm leaning towards the latter. I don't think my storage solution will carry multiple epic ships, so I'm going to have to get them their own storage. Which means I can probably put tons of the cardboard tokens with them, but I'm not 100% sold on that, since it would require me to bring the second storage box just for tokens when I plan on playing 300pts of ships in epic play, so I figured I'd ask for advise here.
