I have not had a chance to playtest any Epic games (hard to find the time to get friends to play such an involved version!) But I made 2 different Epic Lists, which do you think is a better idea? Also any advice tword changing either around is more then welcome!
LIST #1
Squad 1 - The Bomber Squad, They line in standard Pinwheel Formation, If they come across huge swarms the Assault Missiles are priority, if they come across Big ships (or huge ships) first, its all about the cluster.
TIE Bomber - Scimitar Squadrom Pilot - Cluster Missiles - Assault Missiles (25pts)
TIE Bomber - Scimitar Squadrom Pilot - Cluster Missiles - Assault Missiles (25pts)
TIE Bomber - Scimitar Squadrom Pilot - Cluster Missiles - Assault Missiles (25pts)
TIE Bomber - Captain Jonus - Veteran Instincts - Seismic Charges (25pts)
Squad 2 - This is Small, Duel Firesprays with PTL, they will start on either side of the bombers to assist with the initial missile bombardment, but after they unloaded the payload, they are free to separate and do there own thing.
Firespray-31 - Boba Fett - Push the Limit - Recon Specialist - Cluster Missiles - Engine Upgrade
Firespray-31 - Kath Scarlet - Push the Limit - Recon Specialist - Cluster Missiles - Engine Upgrade
Squad 3 - A Standard TIE Swarm
Tie Fighter - Academy Pilot X6 (12pts each)
TIE Fighter - Howlrunner - Swarm Tactics - Stealth Device (23pts)
LIST #2
Squad 1 - Bombers (See Above)
Squad 2 - Firesprays (See Above)
Squad 3 - Interceptors, the point of Squad 3 above is just mass numbers, the point of squad 3 in this build is to stay on the outside of the battle and be as annoying as possible with Fel and Turr, with the early addition of Colonel Jendon to pass them a couple early target locks (NOTE: I may switch out Jendon for another named interceptor instead, or 2 generic ones)
TIE Interceptor - Soontir Fel - Push the Limit
TIE Interceptor - Turr Phennir - Push the Limit - Stealth Device
Lambda-Class Shuttle - Colonel Jendon - Fire-Control System - Weapons Engineer - ST-321
Any advice more then welcome! My friends play this game but not as often as I like to test builds, so the information I get here is just great, thanks for the help X-Wing Community!
